Legend L is the rear-loading system consisting of a compactor with a skip/hood structure that forms the basis of any organised urban waste collection system.
The Legend L’s rear-loading hopper provides a high volumetric capacity while maintaining a low overhang. It is also designed to easily integrate the various AVC solutions on the market.
Legend L can be used both as a transfer station and as a transfer vehicle, thanks to the various configurations available and the large loading opening that guarantees maximum versatility in coupling satellite vehicles. The advantages of the Legend L system are a high payload capacity achieved through careful engineering work and high versatility in configuration to meet the most varied market requirements.
In the L model, the body height is reduced to allow the application of roof loading cranes. The hatch cylinders have been placed inside the uprights to protect them from rejection.
The thrust cylinders of the compacting unit are outside the hopper and the shovel cylinders have upward-pointing rods to protect them from contact with the waste. Thanks to the proportional oil distributor for the AVC system it is possible to improve emptying times and preserve the integrity of the containers over time; the gasket between the hopper and the ‘full height’ rear door allows maximum slurry containment without restricting the walls of the hopper; the rear door is opened without vertical sliding so as not to damage the sealing gasket; the standard manual AVC system is equipped with an automatic bin pre-hooking system with a specific bin gripping system. The internal width of the loading opening in the configuration with standard AVC is the widest on the market 2200 mm, to facilitate dumping by satellite vehicles.
